June 25, 2022I wish I had seen other reviews before I purchased these. It is clear there is a significant design flaw and the strap is not at the right place and is far too narrow for any adult size foot. The shoe should not have been sold.

Exactly like the picture but weird fit
June 7, 2022They are just like the picture and well-made. I am a true 9.5M. I have a pair of boots, a pair of block sandals, and a pair of sneakers from J. Crew that are all 9.5 M and fit just fine. However, based on the reviews I ordered a size 10. So..this fit is a little strange. Some of the other reviewers mentioned that they could barely squeeze their foot into the sandal because the strap is too tight. I actually think the sole really is true to size but the strap is placed too far back on the sole. Hence, where the model in the picture shows the strap going across her toe cleavage, in reality, her heel hangs off the back a smidge in order to get that strap placement. So the strap crosses at the joint of the big toe. NOT Ideal. This makes the brown ridge and interior ridge that run the perimeter feel like it’s too long and will scrape when walking. NOT Ideal. However, The shoe is more stable when I ran the strap THROUGH the twisted part instead of basic crisscross.

Nice shoe if you have a narrow foot
May 23, 2022I typically wear a size 9 in flat sandals and found these sandals to be perfect in length. The leather strap that crosses over the top of the foot, however, is very tight and you really have to push hard to get your foot into the shoe. Once your foot is in it's really not comfortable because the strap is so tight. I DO NOT have a wide foot. Since the strap is a thin leather material I am hoping that with some wear it will loosen up since I cannot return it.

May 21, 2022This shoe cuts with a lumpy thick spot at a very tight stress and tender spot. Completely clear before even attempting to wear, they would be torture immediately. I am angry that a company as large as Crew would sell shoes that (unworn) cannot be returned! Even if they are clearance, shoes are hard to to fit and vary wildly on particulars related to different humans. I bought 2 pairs and will not be able to wear either! That is a lot of $$ wasted and it makes me angry. Even on clearance, JC shoes are not inexpensive! I read all the reviews to get a determination didn’t work. I went up a half size. Very upset

Too small
May 20, 2022These sandals are nice and good quality, but unfortunately they are very narrow and a little shorter in length. They seem at least half size too small. At first I thought I was send the wrong size. Too bad I am stuck with them.
