Adidas® Gazelle sneakers

-Sized down one whole shoe size. Size 8 fit my size 9 feet in length with no room to spare (that's fine), the width is comfortable too, can wear with/without socks. -Comfortable, and look of shoes on feet are perfect. -Color is true to picture, off white with greyish hue so the off white isn't too yellow. -Tongue looks like they took a shortcut, looks almost like lid to a paper coffee cup but it's not rigid, didn't rub my feet. My feet: 10" long, thin but not narrow, I sized down in another pair of Adidas I own too, wear size 9 in JCrew & most other shoes.

Received these as a gift from my husband — very cute, super comfy, but the tongue on the shoe is made of plastic, and as a person walks, it squeaks. And not just a little — very loudly. I thought it might get better, but it has only gotten worse with time. Very disappointed in this detail... I would rather not create such noise pollution in my very quiet office. These are likely going into the donation bag.

I wanted one pair of light colored tennies for the summer. It was between these and the Tretorns. I ended up with these mainly because I knew the leather would be easier to keep clean than the white canvas of the Tretorns. I love the retro classic styling of these shoes. They are a bit lacking in support and a bit big. I usually wear an 8 to and 8.5 and ordered an 8 but probably should have gotten a 7.5.
