Italian wool beret

My love for beret’s...thanks to mama. She used to wear them back in the day, in the 60’s & 70’s. I purchased the black beret and I have been wearing it everyday to work. It’s a classic piece that can be worn to the office or on the weekend for brunch or a casual evening dinner. I love classic pieces! This is another timeless Italian classic piece! Ciao Bella!

After 20 years, finally...found an Italian beret at JCrew. It was the customer reviews that led me to take the plunge. Purchased the black (2) and red (1) colors. No regrets at all. Beautiful, quality polished looking hats that has a grown up look than ball caps and ski hats. Fit is slightly bigger than the ho-hum regular berets, with a taller top that really gives a super style that I have long waited for. Wearable in whatever is in my wardrobe from casual jeans to the JCrew "teddy bear" coat. It does not pinch or squeeze my head or collapse flat on the head. In fact, it is super comfortable and stays put. I have a rounded face, wide cheekbones and head shape that is between a small and medium. Simply happy this Italian beret makes me look and feel superb. Black is for everyday and red for holidays and when marching in my annual New Year's parade. Love classics with style and quality. These berets are in that category. Would like a gentlemen's grey color if it ever becomes available.
