Comfy and very pretty on
August 7, 2019I wasn't sure how it would work with the frills and size, but I am so glad I took a chance. I am usually size XS and 0/2 in dresses, 5'2" and 118lb. I ordered size 2, and it's slightly big at the waist and the front gapes a bit even with the security button. However the armpit and other parts of the torso fit well, and it's very pretty on. Since I am on the short side, this dress looked much longer on me, which I also liked. Material is very good cotton, and it has a substantial inner material. I got a lot of compliments, and it's very comfortable. Plus pockets!! I got it on sale, and I don't need it to be much tighter, so I am keeping the size 2. Nice surprise from J. Crew - one of my favorite pieces of recent.. (I have been very disappointed and frustrated in the past 2-3 years with J. Crew products, but this one was a hit.)

June 18, 2019I love this lovely dress! I get compliments every time I wear the dress. And the most of all, my boyfriend said that he really really like the way I look! It means a lot to me and I think he really love the dress on me because I don't hear compliments from him very often. Thank you, J. Crew!

Gorgeous Gingham!!
May 20, 2019I am a sucker for gingham so of course I had to get this dress. The fit is very flattering and you can dress it up or down. I've worn it with a black cardigan and I have gotten many compliments.

Not for Shrinking Violets
May 7, 2019I put my dress on just to run errand but ended up turning heads. Everywhere I went, people stopped to compliment me on how cute, pretty, beautiful and cheery I looked. There were so many compliments that I lost count. It is 100% cotton which is cool and comfortable for the hot humid summers of Georgia. Perfection!

Crisp and fresh
May 5, 2019The moment I opened the box I know this dress was going to be amazing. Tried it on at that very moment and looked great. After freshly ironed and pressed the dress looked better then amazing!! Great fabric and you can never go wrong with gingham.
