Long-sleeve everyday cashmere crewneck dress

Eyeing this cashmere dress for some time and decided to get it. I’ve not had a cashmere dress before and thought it would be lovely for the holiday season with maybe a plaid shirt underneath to add a pop of color

I've loved J Crew cashmere sweaters I've bought, and I like to wear dresses, so I gave this a try. Good choice in the S rather than usual XS- I wanted it not too clingy or short. Very comfy, but I find it does need a slip (I wear tanks under sweaters). Now that I found the right slip, I'll wear this with tights as a cozy winter outfit.

I was really excited to get this dress but was shocked to see how short it was. On the model it shows as being below the knee, the description says that it falls to the knee at about 37" inches for a small. I am 5'8, wear a medium, and it falls slightly longer than mid-thigh. I would say the length is more like 35 inches even on a medium. I thought it was super flattering once on though so I ended up keeping it anyway.

I am wearing size 12, I am 5’2” 150 lbs. I love the dress as it’s warm, soft and convenient in many ways and for many occasions. I recommend this product.

I was excited to wear this as a dress but it will require leggings or skinny jeans underneath if I want to fit it into the workwear rotation. I’m 5’9 and it falls a few inches above the knee. Final sale or I’d return.

Soft comfortable cashmere, very good quality. Length is good for winters
