Tie-front dress in drapey gingham

I'm 5'1'', 140 lbs, A/B cup. I bought a size 6. This dress fits me perfectly at the waist and slightly big at the chest which makes sense bc I have a smaller bust than the average woman. I wouldn't consider it a fault of the dress. The dress was almost exactly as pictured. The dress looks white/red in the picture. In person, the white squares have a bluish tinge that is more apparent vs the pictures. Based on the pictures, I was expecting a red/true white dress. In the end of the day I don't mind, it's just not what was pictured. Minor feedback aside, I love the dress. It's the cute/casual summer dress that I was looking for. It is comfortable in the summer heat. (As comfortable as you can get in the south in July).... If covid wasn't happening, it would have been my July 4th picnic dress but that party was cancelled. It is also in my rotation for cute daytime date outfits with my husband.

Sadly this is going back. If it was cotton or linen, I'd be all about it, but this cheap fabric is going to make you SWEAT. I also didn't love the side slits. Maybe an asymmetrical or a back slit would be cute, but it just felt too youthful for me. I'm usually an 8/10 and would've stuck with the 10 had I not disliked the feel so much.

This dress was not for me because of the colors. The orange is a strong red orange and the blue is like a pale blue grey. Together on my skin tone it just wasn't working. The material is beautiful and the cut is cute, meant probably for someone taller. Unfortunately, this is one item being returned.

The style of the dress is very cute if you get the right size, it does run a little big. Also, I thought it was a red & white colored dress but it’s actually a light blue & red color. The material is not my favorite, it’s not airy and I imagine it being sticky if you were to wear on a hot summer day. Unfortunately I returned the dress.

Color is orange and light blue, not red and white. This dress would be perfect had it been made of cotton fabric, or at least lined in cotton. I boiled just trying it on in the air conditioned house. I could not wear it outdoors from April through November.

I am very pleased with this dress. The fit is perfect, and the quality is top notch. This dress can be worn casually or dressed up and worn for a dressy occasion. I thought when purchased it was red and white check but it is actually a soft blue and orange/red check which is a beautiful combination. I highly encourage this as a new addition to your summer wardrobe.
