Thomas Mason® for J.Crew tunic in shirting stripes

Recently almost all shirts at Jcrew have super high/tight neck cut that is typical of men's wear. For men it makes them look wider and perhaps more masculine but it is not the average ladies want. Combined with the stiff fabric, it makes my upper body look like a big chunk while I am 5'3" less than a 100lb. Not to mention that top button is not designed to be closed. I don't mind it is a loose cut but the tight neckline is really super unflattering. I actually tried folding the neck into a V shape and it looked ten times better.

Be reminded that armhole of this tunic is much bigger than I expected. It might be also due to texture of fabric then looks so bulky. I love this design and quality,but I think it difficult to choose for my appropriate size.

It is so comfortable. The fabric has the expensive sheen, of a Thomas Mason shirt. It is beautiful, something that won't go out of style and would buy again if it came in other colors, possibly solid. I wish JCrew could have more of a collaboration with them.

Hi, i normally wear a 10 in Thomas Mason x Jcrew stuff... I got a Large in this case. This does fit much more like a tunic. I will return for a Medium...
