So dramatic & classy
January 8, 2019Love these shorts! I purchased an 8 as that was all that was left, although I usually wear a 6. These are beautiful quality and the fit it so comfy. The length is really tasteful, so I feel they could be dressed up to fit lots of different occasions in the warm months. The 8 is a little large in the waist, as I have a small waist and wider hips, but I feel once these are washed they will lay a little nicer, although I don’t necessarily mind the drama of the width as they accentuate my small upper half. These are 100% cotton, so I know they will wash and air dry well.

September 11, 2018These shorts are so comfortable! I wanted a cute pair of shorts, to take on vacation, that could go with almost anything I packed, and these are perfect! There is a zipper on the side, which is hidden when you tie the waist bow. And like almost all of the other reviews said, the bow looks so cute! I can wear them high waisted and they aren’t restrictive. The pockets are a little weird, they are almost directly in front.

So Cute But Faulty Zipper
September 6, 2018These look super cute in person. I bought the other poplin bow shorts as well, and these have a narrower bow sash which looks nicer. Too bad I couldn't get the zipper undone to even try them on - the hidden plastic zipper was sown too close and tight to the fabric and sort of warps so you can't get a smooth zip! I got a size 0 like the other reviewer that mentioned the bad zipper, and mine ended up splitting as well. No point in having cute shorts if you can't even put them on...J. Crew made a huge mistake with the execution and quality control on this one. Hopefully I'll be able to exchange these in store because they're so cute and fit into my wardrobe. I would only recommend it if you can find it with a working zipper - and even then, be careful each time you use the zipper!! I didn't have the same zipper issue with the other poplin bow shorts.
