One of my fave skirts ever
June 4, 2020I love this skirt so much. I bought it in academic green in the fall, and just recently bought the wildflower pink. Both colours are so beautiful and true to the website photos. There's something about the cut, the length, the seam down the centre... I'm not exactly sure where the magic lies, but I find it very flattering including in photos. By some miracle, it makes my legs look long (which, sadly, is not the case). Definitely has a 1960s/mod feel to it. J.Crew, please keep making this skirt in new colours!

Pretty but small
April 16, 2020Beautiful skirt and good length/style. However, I returned b/c the size was too small. I have size 8 pants from Jcrew and they are a tad big but pretty good fit overall. The JCrew size recommendation for this skirt was 6 but I knew I didn't want it tight so I went with my typical size thinking it would be a little roomier. The 8 was much tighter than I anticipated and not super flattering as a result.

A bit see-through
March 10, 2020I loved this skirt when I received it, tried it on and it fit great. However, when I put it on for work, paired with a navy shirt, I realized it was a bit see-through, and that you could see the navy through the white skirt. For this reason, I would not recommend this skirt. IT may be less noticeable with lighter colored shirts.

Awkward fit!
March 7, 2020Was very excited for this skirt. But disappointed upon arrival! It is very awkward fitting. I normally take a size 2 in skirts and dresses at J.Crew. Bought this in 4 based on the prior reviews that it ran small. It sure did and I felt like it would probably ride up or start moving when you walk around . I am returning.
