French girl slim crop pant in 365 crepe

I do not like the material. The fit is good, however.

I work in sales and have to dress business casual almost every day. These pants are so good because they look really chic, but are super comfortable! Size is perfect, next time I may order petite because I am 5'4 and think they could've been a tiny bit shorter, but I wear heels anyway so it doesn't make much difference. I highly recommend these pants in the navy color!

This pant is of very good quality and the color is a true navy blue, however, the pant is not slim through the leg. I bought these in a size 10 and maybe I was imagining a skinny fit when I saw the pic, but the pant is very lose through the thigh and knees then weirdly reduces at the bottom. I would have returned them however I bought them on final sale.

These pants make me feel super chic. The material is really light, perfect for spring or summer but would not be warm enough for the winter. The high waist and the tailored fit are extremely flattering. I purchased two sizes and went with the smaller size, so they do run a little bit big compared to other trousers I've purchased from J Crew. I also had to get them taken up about 2 inches as I am 5'3" and the hem of the leg hit a little bit too low below my ankle. Also purchased with the suit jacket and the whole suit is really feminine and stylish. I can wear the trousers with a blouse or with the jacket for a more formal look. Overall, really pleased!

i'm petite, but i'm by no means the smallest person i know. nonetheless, the sizing chart indicates i should be a 00, with a 24" waist and a 34" hip. this should fit me perfectly. so imagine my surprise when i try my new pants on and i am SWIMMING. i chalk this up to the cut or my having different proportions, but they're such nice looking pants that i decide to try them on a second time just in case they might be easily altered or something, but they are truly huge, and i am confused how i could have gone so wrong when, based on the measurements, they should have fit like a glove. i got out my garment measuring tape - the natural waist is 27", the hip is 37", i.e. a size 2. j.crew, wtf. this is the SMALLEST size you offer??? (furthermore, 00 and 000 are not sizes.) this is ridiculous. please stop this unbelievable reverse inflation of sizing.

I ordered the size I thought I would need based on the size charts, erring on the larger size because they are described as slim fit, because I'm usually between sizes. These did not fit me anywhere near like the model pictured - they were way too big everywhere, even in the legs, and also too long to get the slightly cropped look I was looking for. I would have had to size down probably 2 sizes, but there weren't any to try on at the store where I returned my pair, so I won't know if even those would have fit properly. Unless you know this style fits you well, use caution when purchasing these on final sale. I love the 365 crepe fabric, but I think I like it better on tops than pants.
