Everyone is right.....
March 16, 2021I bought this sweater, and like everybody else, loved how soft it felt. My experience was also very similar to those reviewer‘s that commented on the sweater pilling after only a few days. I was glad that I didn’t purchase another one, as I had planned, because the quality of this sweater is completely abysmal. The quality of J.Crew sweaters has gone downhill drastically. I had purchased another sweater similar in softness to this turtleneck, and in just a week, it was pilling like crazy as well.

Not My Favorite So Returning It
March 7, 2021I wanted to like this but I wasn't a fan. I thought it would be chunkier. It's soft. But I'm going to try out the swingy alpaca in the hopes that it's more chunky winter than this. I also think you might have to size down. I ordered a small, but it's got about an inch material on either side (when you hold your arms out parallel to the ground). I don't like my clothes tight fitting, but I don't want that much extra material. Usually I am a size small in J.Crew so something has to be oversized for me to go to an xs. Teddi for instance I like to size up, but everything else usually fits true to size.

Some Good Some Meh
March 5, 2021Good: fit & fabric The fit is on the larger side but comfortable not frumpy. The yarn truly is "super soft". Meh: quality/construction After only (hand!) washing twice, I went to put it on, only to discover a one inch rip at a shoulder seam.

So cozy warm but light weight
February 24, 2021Love this turtleneck. I am very picky about turtlenecks and own many of them. This has a tight neck that stays up and is not itchy. I am petite 5 ft with 34D breast, athletic build. I was really surprised the xxsmall fit me well without being too tight on breast. Looks very polished with jeans and casual blazer or on its own.

Lovely and soft for exactly 3 days
February 22, 2021After 3 times wearing this sweater, it started pilling all down the arms and down the sides. Still soft, but it looks like it is 10 years old in such a short time. SO disappointed.

February 14, 2021I love the color and comfort of this sweater. It’s longer in the back than the front and I’m not as much of a fan of that, but still a keeper. I ordered a small but should have gotten my regular XS.
