High-cut waist bikini bottom in embroidered seersucker

I’m a little upset that I have to return them... very cute but runs large! I recommend size down

I went back and forth on buying these bottoms for a few weeks after reading the only other review, and I am glad I went for them because I love the look and cut of this bikini bottom. The embroidery is so adorable! I paired this with a white top because I don't like matchy-matchy bikinis. I have a 24" waist and 33" hips, and I ordered an XXS. I usually buy a 0 or XS from J. Crew (but definitely not always), but I find that the high waisted swim bottoms always run big. I will say that this bottom fits better than the solid high waisted swim bottom that I tried last year because that pair was too baggy on the backside while this pair fits well and is really flattering. The rise is slightly lower than my other J. Crew high waist swim bottom from a few years ago, but it still reaches my belly button. (My mid-section is flat, though, so I can absolutely see how this might be a really unflattering cut if the rise can't quite make it high enough.)

This suit is seriously so cute in person and so well-made, and I L O V E D LOVED the matching top! Love the higher cut leg as well; it's super flattering. Unfortunately, the suit wasn't high-waisted enough for me so combined with the higher-cut leg, it created a really unflattering silhouette, emphasizing my curves in all the wrong ways. I'm so sad to have to send it back :(
