Ribbed trouser socks

I miss the old cotton socks. These are terrible. Felt like plastic.

I got these in black and they're exactly what I was looking for to go with my loafers to wear for work. I was looking for black socks that wouldn't fade in the wash, and these are pitch black and just perfectly thin. Since they are made with wool, they don't feel as smooth as cotton and can have a slightly coarse feeling. I wore them all day and didn't come across any issues, but keep in mind I work in an office and don't do any kind of strenuous work. The black sold out so quickly, please restock them!! I bought the navy as well, and they're almost indistinguishable from the black.

I was surprised by how rough these socks felt to the touch-While the roughness is not noticeable while wearing, I have never felt such coarsely textured socks in my life. On the bright side, the coarse texture makes them more durable and resistant to holes. I would not repurchase these, unless they came in a unique color.

Perfect fit and unbelievable comfortable. Totally would recommend.

I do like them, a lot... Good pair of thin socks: well made, good quality (a light wool blend, i believe). I was not sure I would like them, but I really do!

I received these as a gift, and they have the same problem as all of JC's socks lately. They're huge. I mean, really, really, really big (you can even kind of tell from the photograph). I am a 6.5, and there is no way I can wear these. JC's socks didn't used to be this massive. I don't know what happened. If you have larger feet (and apparently, as per other reviewers, you need to be in the 9 and up range), these will be great for you. They're nice socks. However, if you have a smaller foot, I'd steer clear. I'm really hoping JC takes note of the reviews mentioning this issue. I used to love buying socks here, but I am officially done purchasing them until they either go back to normal or start offering multiple sizes. Sigh. Such a bummer.
