What customers are saying:
Customers appreciated the distinctive design touches like the contrasting cuff and collar details, which add a unique flair to the shirt. Several customers noted that the fabric feels thinner than expected, and some suggested that upgrading the material could better match its premium price tag. Many mentioned that the silhouette is on the relaxed and boxy side, so if you prefer a more fitted look, you might want to review sizing options. Overall, the style stands out, and with a few enhancements in fabric quality, it could be even more appealing.

Mheh.
March 16, 2023Saved forever for an authentic woman's man-inspired tuxedo shirt. Thought for certain this would be it. It's not. Yes, the fabric IS everything I hoped and the collar/cuff details ARE as every man's tuxedo I've helped tie over the years. However, if I had wanted an ill fitting man's shirt, I could have bought one for $39 at The Warehouse. I really thought I'd get some bust darts and a little tailoring or at minimum a really cool/unique oversize fit from this designer (at this price). A chic neckline like tuxedo deserves better. Expectations too high perhaps. If you're OK with the great casual Mason-type cut with a tuxedo collar... you'll love this.

Unfortunately Not
January 26, 2023I purchase lots of JCrew items. I’m very particular about the items I purchase. I review everything I purchase. This will be my first negative review. Unfortunately this blouse is not that great. Prior reviews mentioned that it was boxy and big. The reviews were accurate. I normally purchase a 6. For reference I’m 5’6”, 144 lbs., 36DD. I purchased a 4 which fits well as it relates to width. Length is good. I have long arms and the sleeves were fine. The material is thin. The cuffs are a nice touch and the style will work for what I purchased it for. I got this on sale but for the sale price to me it still wasn’t worth it. Not impressed.

Disappointed
January 26, 2023Shirt itself is thinner than other J.Crew poplin shirts. Collar and cuffs are made out of a contrasting textured material. Execution is not quite right, so the overall effect feels a little cheap. Embroidered logo does not look good IRL. Other reviewer’s mentioned that this runs big. I would not recommend sizing down if you are busty.

Meh
December 15, 2022A bit boxy and oversized. Not see through which is nice. I find the initials on the wrist to be gaudy.

Just ok…not worth the price
December 13, 2022The cuffs on the shirt are the only special detail worth noting. I’m a 0/2 in Jcrew shirts, I and went with the 0 this one because of the fit recommendation. The sizing is accurate but the fit didn’t wow me, looking boxy on my 5’7” 115 pound shape. For $268 dollars I expected better fabric and fit. It’s going back. I’ll stick with the jcrew slim fit button downs.
