Classic for a reason
1 week agoThis sweater is heavy and well-made. It keeps me warm and toasty without getting sweaty. I would love this in more colors and stripes--like a thick rugby style.

True 1988 Roll Neck. They nailed this!
2 weeks agoAs a woman, this is the second men’s roll neck sweater I have bought for myself this season. They remind me of the original roll neck., I was immediately brought back to JCrew in my college days. These have been my favorite two purchases this year.

Heritage Goods Should = Original Quality
September 17, 2025Sorry JCrew. I owned four original rollneck sweaters. The quality and appearance of your modern iteration, in comparison with the original, seems to explain why the company has nearly failed multiple times. Customers are tired of mediocre quality. There is a middle ground between luxury and disposable clothing. Why aren’t you serving that market segment? It’s the same market that grew your brand in the first place.
