Italian featherweight cashmere long-sleeve T-shirt

Love this Tee I use it daily! Want more of them!!!

The cashmere was softer than most of the other J.crew sweaters I've recently purchased, but the material is EXTREMELY thin. It is see-through for the lighter colors, which I didn't mind so much since I could wear a nude cami underneath. The problem is that both sweaters I own have developed small holes in the shoulder / underarm area after wearing them only three times.

I bought two in 2015, I liked them for warmer temperatures and wanted to add a couple more colors this year. The style has appeared to have changed...pretty colors but more sheer than last year. Design was different for the fit, the sleeves were longer and the fit kind of baggy. Poorer quality is getting to be more of a theme at JCrew and there tend to be more returns than keepers. For this sweater, please review the 2015 version and improve on the weave density of the cashmere, try to use saturated colors. Leave the 3/4 sleeve and overall fit alone, please.

As many have said this sweater runs small. So far the quality seems okay to me, but not wonderful. It is lightweight and soft.

Okay, so I can't say I understand the reviews. I am a solid 4 or P4 in JCrew tops. I ordered the Heather Jasmine in a medium, it wasn't available in a small anyway, but I am glad I did not order it in a large like I was considering! The shirt fits me looser and longer, granted I am a little under 5'4", than the model. This leads me to believe it would have fit fine in my actual size. It certainly isn't this two sizes too small, kids sweater people make it out to be. Perhaps it's because people expect the shirt to fit like a sweater and not a cashmere shirt. I don't know. I would have liked mine to fit a bit snugger, but it's not bad or unwearable. The sleeves are bracelet length, but that is the design. You're not going to size your way out of that. Other than that it's a really soft, smooth shirt. I hope it holds up in in the long run. It is quite thin compared to the non-featherweight cashmere shirts.

I couldn't be more disappointed in this J Crew sweater! I ordered two of these for each of my daughters, thinking they would have a beautiful cashmere sweater to open on Christmas morning...but instead, they each got something skimpy, short, NOT cashmere, and 3/4 sleeved. I ordered in their usual size and it was WAY too small. I would NOT recommend this to anyone!
