The structured jacket

Meticulously crafted by skilled artisans (it takes over 200 steps from start to finish), our suit jackets feature a number of tailoring techniques that set them apart.

1. Collar

Fine heavy canvas, felt and pad stitching enables the collar to be shaped and molded to fit snug around the neck.

2. Shoulder construction + sleeve setting

A custom sleeve head is built from multiple layers of canvas and felt, and precision die-cut for a refined shape.

3. Lapel (in notch, peak or shawl)

A pad-stitched lapel creates a natural roll that stays tightly pressed against the chest. The more rows of stitching, the better the quality. (Ours feature more than 20.)

4. Half-canvas interior construction

Four interior layers of canvas and haircloth from one of the world’s best suppliers maintain the jacket’s structure and mold it to the wearer’s body over time.

5. Lining

High quality and breathable.

The unstructured jacket

Same great fit, but with less interior construction for an easy-to-wear, breathable approach to suiting. Still the same quality we’re known for—just a more casual, modern approach.

1. Unpadded shoulders

We removed the padding and kept the crisp silhouette. The result is a naturally draped shoulder and a jacket that’s easier to throw on.

2. Unlined interiors

See the seam? It’s typically covered by the lining, but take it away and you have a jacket that breathes more and stays cooler.

3. No canvas

Many suit jackets are built with layers of canvas inside to give them structure. Jackets without the canvas are inherently less stiff and lighter.

The pant

A great jacket deserves an equally sharp pair of pants. That’s why our
designers work with expert craftsmen to cut our suit pants. Each pair features
the exact same quality and attention to detail that go into making our jackets.

Button-tab closure

Button-tab closure

An interior extended button tab prevents the hook-and-bar closure from gaping and reinforces the fly.
