The perfect dress for any occasion

Solar Yellow
August 4, 2023I had been eyeing this dress in solar yellow for months and finally went for it when it went on sale. It’s absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured. It would be worth paying full price. The material is nice and substantial without being overly heavy, but the full skirt has a nice weight to it that makes it feel dressier. I bought it to wear to a bridal shower and wedding, and would honestly wear it everyday if I could haha. I purchased one size down than what the size chart suggested (using the top measurements since the skirt is full and flowy) and it fits like a glove.

Amazing cut
July 27, 2023First I got the pink flowered version of this dress directly in a store in NY. I am usually between 6 and 8 and this one runs rather large. I was able to get into a 6. The fabric is crispy and wonderful. After that I ordered the yellow version and it is the same. Crispy and beautiful. Now I ordered the blue liberty fabric and have to say I am a bit disappointed of the fabric. Colors are nice, but it is very thin and soft. Not crispy at all. It also runs much larger around the breast part. I need to bring it to a taylor and adjust it. I can 100% recommend the poplin versions. The liberty one is ok but not perfect.

Cute but large
July 22, 2023I bought the dress in pink floral and love everything about it but the sizing. I wish the sizing would stay the same all around in the J crew dresses. This runs large and I would recommend sizing down. I am 4 in all the dresses at Jcrew. Would buy a 2 in this one. Also final sale which I can't return.

The color!!!
July 8, 2023Yellow is my favorite color and I loved this dress. It’s a bit heavy but I’m ok with that. It is a bit tight in the bust area which is why I sized up. Quality is amazing as it is with most JCrew dresses and it has pockets!!!! I pair this with the denim lady jacket. Quite nice!
