Great fabric, super lightweight for summer and great for work

This is a lovely skirt--very vibrant shades, in a floaty chiffon that twirls nicely, thanks to the godets at the hem--but ultimately, I couldn't make it work for me. The waist (as it true on all slip skirts) is large on me, so wearing it at the level I wanted to resulted in it sticking out too much in front... and pulling it down onto my hips (so that the waistband lay flat against my abdomen) made the fabric stick out unattractively at hip level. For anyone who isn't such an hourglass shape, though, it's probably gorgeous!

The chiffon felt really thin and cheap. I mean, I know chiffon is lighweight but it just felt cheap for the price. It was also a little bit big. The shape of the skirt was pretty though and I would have kept it if was a little less expensive.
