I'm a 32A and wasn't sure about XS vs. S - many sports bras in XS tend to feel too tight, which ended up being the case with this swim top. I can wear it but it feels a bit too constricting in the band; if it hadn't been final sale I would've exchanged it for S. For reference, the band is about 24 inches in circumference (unstretched). I like the style, though!

Fits a little small in my opinion. But once you get the right size is comfortable and flattering. Love it! I am small chested and usually fit S but ordered M in this which was not as tight .

Love this style, had to order in a different size as it was a big small for me. I am about a 36 A and the small fit but for me was a bit too tight especially around the neck. Medium fit well and the cup/chest area wasn't much bigger than the small. Haven't worn for active swimming yet but I bet it would be great for this.

Really happy with this one. I bought it final sale so it could have gone really wrong, but for the price I was able to get it was worth the calculated risk. I got my usual size, M, and it fits really well. That was a gamble because I am a 34DDD so sometimes the medium swimtops fit around the band but the cup area is too small. On this one there's the tiniest bit of sideboob (due to my large cup size), but nothing at all major--I'd still feel comfortable wearing this around my kids or my parents and no one would be scandalized. I wish there was more full coverage on the back because that's an easy area to burn, but I have to admit the shape in the back is sexy. It's a nice top for if you're wanting to be pretty active at the pool/beach, or if you just don't want to worry about anything falling out. I got the navy top and bottom. For fit reference I'm 5'3", 135lbs, 34DDD.

This and the swim shorts are a great alternative to a bikini or one piece. The top could use more side coverage and more support. Hope J. Crew continues with items like this.
