These are very slick looking and well made. They slip on easily and fit very nicely. After reading the reviews, I ordered my regular size instead of sizing-up, and I’m glad I did; they are comfortable with not-thick socks. The almond-shaped toes accommodate my slightly wide feet. These look great with leggings, I wear them with black leggings and a long sweater, and I look like a 70s diva!

I bought these boots to replace a pair from a luxury brand I'd bought at a time when I thought more expensive meant better in every way. They weren't quite the long-term investment I'd been led to believe they would be and suddenly found myself in need of a new pair earlier this Fall. I was shopping for something else on J Crew when I found these on sale, so I ordered them. I didn't expect they'd be a suitable replacement, but was very pleasantly surprised when they arrived and looked and felt every bit as good as my original pair (except better, because they were new). These are the perfect Chelsea boots! Comfortable, elegant and easy to put on and off. They look great with tights and a skirt or dress, as well as with skinny jeans and leggings. I bought them in black and the leather is soft but gives the boot a good structured feel.

I've been looking for a brown chelsea boot that can go with almost anything. The color is great and I love how they really pull an outfit together! As with most pairs of Jcrew shoes I've purchased, these run a half size large so I would recommend sizing down.
