Sorel® Caribou® boots

These boots are super warm and sturdy. It has been so cold lately that I find myself wearing them daily. We had a warm spell shortly after these arrived and I hardly wore these at all at first, but two weeks later it is just above zero and I am glad that I made the purchase! The price that you pay for the warmth and solid construction is weight: these weigh at least three pounds apiece. You won't be running any marathons in them, but they will give you warmth and traction when walking in snow and below freezing temps. Also, as noted in the listing, these boots do run big and you need to size down. I wear an 8.5 narrow and even going down to an 8, these are a bit roomy. I recommend wearing thick socks or doubling socks. The removable liners are felt and I hand washed cold with wool detergent and air dried with no problem.

Everything I expected and more. First pair that I have purchased and am so glad I did. Friends said I would love them and I do. Extremely warm and comfortable.

Bought these for my husband who does a lot outdoors stuff . We live in western NY with lots of snow and cold . He loves them! Ordered down a half size just as recommened(normally wears 10 1/2 bought 10 ),fit perfect.
