These chino pants are getting lots of love for being lightweight, comfortable, and stylish, with several customers saying they work especially well for warmer weather and dressier occasions. The slim fit seems to suit boys who are tall and skinny, and the adjustable waist helps get a good fit. A few customers suggested sizing up or said the length runs a bit longer, so checking the size chart may help. They also seem to wash well and hold up nicely, making them an easy go-to pair in a bunch of colors.

these fit great on my slim son
August 29, 2018I look high and low for pants that fit my tall and slim son. My son needed nice grey pants for a summer event. I returned 4 pairs of gray pants to other retailers before I found these from CrewCuts. My son is 8, tall and skinny. I have a hard time finding pants that don't fall off of him. The elastic synching was easy to adjust and didn't look sloppy when adjusted to my sons waist. Thank you Jcrew for carrying pants that fit him and look nice. We will continue to buy these pants

I have a pair in every color
August 9, 2018I love these pants. They are lightweight, comfortable, they look stylish, they wash well, no need to iron if you hang right out of the dryer. I bought a pair in every color. My son is 9 and is 4'8 so I bought a size 12 so they'd be long enough.

Elevated Structured Chinos
August 8, 2018These chino pants are well-structured, light-weight, and slim-fit, but not to the point that they are uncomfortable or tight. The photo of the model on the website gives the wrong impression that these chinos are too skinny or snug, which they are not. They are true to size, unlike most slim pants. The length is really nice and the light stretch adds a good sense of movement. A subtle sheen in the fabric gives these chinos an elevated look, suitable for special occasions in the spring and summer. My son, almost a teen, loved both the dried papaya (red) and the sun-drenched aqua (mint, not light blue) color, claiming these chinos feel comfortable, flexible, and have a European cut, which tends to work well for him. However, they are not suitable for the daily hustle and bustle at school, aside from noteworthy events, such as presentations, award nights, picture days, etc.
