2 weeks agoHaving four sons, these are my go to spring / summer shorts. Lightweight, elastic waistband for comfort and a thick enough cotton to withstand everyday wear and tear. Would recommend

Run small, size up
September 25, 2025When we find a J.Crew item that works for us, we tend to buy every color. That's what we did with these shorts. Every color! The fabric is good quality and holds up well in the wash. Comfortable style but runs small, even on a skinny kid. We size up. BTW, kids report yhat this style is more comfy than the similar J.Crew shorts in longer length.

The perfect shorts
