Boys' short-sleeve seersucker shirt

My son who has lived in Hawaii for his entire life recently had to move to VA. (military kid) and its time to let go of tank tops, shorts and flip flops, so I purchased him this shirt just for fathers day. He is a size 5, but I bought the 6/7 since is is longer in the torso. it fit well and he likes it, so I plan to purchase him more shirts from JCrew. Wouldn't normally spend $45 for a shirt for a toddler, but Im very happy with the purchase.

I purchased this shirt for my grandson’s birthday next month, so I cannot yet comment on washability. Fabric feels like it would be cool and not cling in summer heat. Great shirt to wear when the occasion calls for something a step up from a tee.
