Boys' softspun crewneck sweater

Very cute and well made. My son likes it too. Not too heavy.

Not soft at all. My son couldn't even stand to wear it for 1 minute. Returned immediately.

I normally love their boy's sweaters, and buy a few every year, but this one pilled within ONE week of wearing it, and it hasn't even been washed/dry cleaned yet. It was our holiday break sweater, the fit and color were beautiful, however the entire back side of the sweater became pilled. And not a few, there are a lot like the sweater is ten years old! I have a regular boy who does regular boy things, and I count on J Crew to make quality clothes that stand up to normal wear. Normally they do, but absolutely not in this case. Whoever chose this material, please don't ever use it again!
