Pleats don't stay pleated
March 11, 2021Loved the Color. Style. Fit. BUT The pleats don't stay pleated. The material doesn't seem to keep the pleat. After wearing just one time the skirt will require major ironing to put the pleats back to there original shape/design. I assume that will be the case every time the skirt is worn. Definitely not worth that kind of follow up effort.

Shipping and quality
February 16, 2021I ordered a blue navy skirt but instead I received a black one. I didn’t had the chance to change it because I was traveling right after it arrived. Besides, the shipping took more days than expected. The quality of the product wasn’t the best.

Fits big
Classy, runs slightly large.
November 2, 2020It's such a cute skirt for my 3 year old. The size 4 (usual size) was loose even when I tightened elastics. Instead of exchanging for smaller size, I ended up connecting elastic to it (sort of like suspenders) and now it stays up. Looks so cute with any sweater on top.

Perfect for Prep School Dress-Up
April 7, 2020My girls both bought this for their Harry Potter dress-up that they wear on a daily basis. Very comfortable and the same size fits two different body sizes equally well.

Tried & True Favorite, Now CHEAP and Shabby
March 15, 2020For many years, this skirt has been the staple of my daughter's school uniform wardrobe. I would by 5 of them every year. They lasted not only through the year, but they even looked brand new when I passed them on to friends after my daughter outgrew them. Unfortunately, that was when they were made of WOOL! Now, J. Crew has very disappointingly changed the material to a poly--which looks cheap and shabby, doesn't iron well AT ALL, and barely lasted through 1st semester of school. I would have paid twice the price for the previous version of the skirt if it were still offered in wool.
