Girls' sherpa coat

I almost didn't get this coat based on the previous review, and it does run large, but it's still really cute. I got a small for my 5 year old and medium for my 7 year old, and while I do have to roll up the sleeves, it doesn't interfere with the look or comfort of the coat. In fact, I'm glad they have room to grow and can wear it for more than one year, and the look is meant to be slightly oversized. That's what makes it a little more modern and stylish I think. The kids themselves both love how cuddly it is, and it works dressed up or dressed down. I'm happy with this versatile and cozy coat.

The fit of this jacket is a big miss. I ordered an XS for my 6 year old daughter and it looked ridiculously massive. The sleeves were too long and the body was comically large. The coat is very thick and does not drape nicely. It honestly looked like she was wearing a rug. Because of the thickness, I would have preferred to see magnetic buttons that could be easily worked by little hands. There's no way my 6 year old could button these. I will be returning.
