Blue coat collects lint easily
January 4, 2019Not warm and collects lint all over. Can use a lint roller and within minutes covered with lint. Beautiful color but that is it the only good quality about this coat.

Terrible quality, very short arms
January 1, 2019I have the adult version of this coat and it is beautiful, slim fitting with long sleeves and thick wool, everyone comments on it. My daughter has desperately wanted one the same and this year I managed to get one in the sale. However it is not at all the same. The material feels cheap. I can understand it not being as heavyweight as the adult coat but it doesn't feel like good quality at all, both inside and out. But worst of all is the fit, the sleeves are very short. I typically buy J.Crew because of their slim fitting styles with long sleeves as my daughter is above average height and below average weight. The Primaloft Fishtail Parka is a perfect fit on her for comparison. (as a side note the material on this years version is also not as nice as last years although it feels like it may be more hard wearing but we will see). I do not recommend this coat at all, it is a huge disappointment, so sad.

Poor Quality
December 2, 2018Grant it I waited until this coat went on sale to purchase it for my daughter. Even at the sale price it is not worth the cost. The material feels cheap, more like felt I can buy at my local Michaels. The color is off, not the Kellish green it appears to be on the online pictures. It's more of a forest green. The snap off fur on the hood is awful, once you remove it the coat just looks sad. This is definitely a return. Been really disappointed lately with my purchases from Jcrew. Just not the quality it used to be.
