Girls' button-up printed pajama set

I’m always surprised when kids pjs are flame resistant. It’s such a shame. We basically douse our kids and chemicals and then let them sleep snug to them all night long. If I was a customer in a store, I’d read the labels, but I forget about all these details to look out for when purchasing online. These pjs reminded me that a parent is never allowed to be anything less than completely attentive to every detail at all times. Ugh. Wouldn’t it be nice if some things were just straightforward.

This is such a pretty print, and my girls love this classic style of pajama. Unfortunately they seem to run huge (not just loose-fitting, which is to be expected from this style). Also, while I understand the important laws about flame-resistance in children’s nightwear, this particular fabric is not nearly as soft as other pjs that also meet the legal requirements. It’s really too bad; they are genuinely cute!

J.Crew, PLEASE take a hint. NO ONE wants to sleep wrapped up in plastic!!!
