Girls' cherry Fair Isle cardigan sweater

The sweater is very pretty. The problem is that the description indicates that the item is machine washable, but when I received the sweater, the instructions indicated Hand Wash Only. My daughter has three little ones and there is no time for hand washing.

Stock photos shows gorgeous bright colors cardigan, in reality - dull colors. Nothing festive at all. The yarn is also slightly itchy, so I will have to wear on my daughter with turtleneck (since neck is very sensitive part). It's final sale, otherwise I would return. It's true to size (got Medium).
