Crosby Classic-fit blazer in linen-blend tweed

They go really well with denim. They seemed a bit large, but after washing them, they fit perfectly.

This is a great sportcoat.

I bought this last month and I don’t love it. I expected it to fit better (it has weird shoulders) and the fabric is rough and scratchy. I thought it would have a more spring/summer feel.

It's basically a perfect sport coat, and here's why: - A tweed made from linen is a "hen's tooth" level rarity. Since most of us don't live in early 1900s Britain, we don't need sport coats to be so heavy, but it seems J Crew is one of the few companies to get that memo. The tweed pattern is richly colored and works great for Fall/Winter layering, or by itself for Spring/Summer. Its natural variegation and subtle slubbiness makes for a noticeably premium feel. - So many classic/traditional details are included: soft shoulders, single vent, 3-roll-2 buttons, triple patch pockets, loose but not too loose fit... about the only item on the list missing is an undarted front, but approximately no company is doing that anymore.

I like the fit and feel of this blazer and that it's single vent. A good value for the price. I also like the navy and white striped sleeve lining even though you only see it when you're putting the blazer on or taking it off. All-in-all, I recommend this blazer. The only issue I have with it is that a small piece of the sizing used in the blazer had somehow been pulled through the fabric and, when I looked in the mirror, I saw a small glaring white spot on the front of it. Fortunately, my alterations person was able to easily correct it and now I can wear it happily.

Weight is perfect for spring and color is rich.
