Ludlow Slim-fit suit jacket in Italian stretch wool blend

Suit is a great option to have in the closet. 185 / 5’11” and the 34 waist + 40 coat fit great. First time buying a suit with any stretch and I can’t say I can tell it’s even there. I thought the waist would stretch out after wearing and it didn’t. For reference the 33 waist in the classic 770 fit chino and it’s baggy on me. 32 waist 484 fit is too tight.

This suit is beautiful. The glen plaid pattern is subtle but well executed. The jacket fit me great (size 40R. I’m 5’10”, 180 lbs. skinny arms, long torso, bigger beer belly than I’d like). The jacket fits well for its size, but is definitely a slim fit. I wish it didn’t taper in on the sides quite so much. Otherwise it looks great. Pants are great too. Also rather slim fitting. I had to size up from my usual (33, bought a 34) in order to tuck a dress shirt in comfortably. The material is light, a little stretchy, and moves nicely. Would definitely recommend!
