Onion-quilted insulated bomber jacket

This is a jacket that shines in the details. Cloaked in a seemingly boring (and a touch dull) color, this jacket is a victory of textures and fabrics. Every element and embellishment is interesting, especially working with everything else - it could end up being a lot, just because every element is texturally different, but in this case, it works. The color has the moroseness of winter, with the smidgen of a shine of spring, and that works wonderfully - not just aesthetically, but also because that is the real playground of this jacket, spring and fall. A big hurrah to J Crew for having fun with designs.

Overall it is a great Jacket. It has a great texture, detailed patterns you cannot see in the pictures. I bought the blue version of it; just amazing deep blue color. Versatile and lightweight; fits great in your regular size. The jacket itself is well made and crafted. I recommend this product over most prêt à porter brand offers.

I'd been looking at this jacket for a while but kept missing out on the discount in the color I wanted. It popped up the other week at a great price and I got it. I was a little nervous because a lot of the reviewers said it was way too small but last time I was in the store I tried on a medium just knowing it wasn't even going to get around my shoulders based on what had been written, but that wasn't the case at all. Although it was too small it wasn't crazy small at all. I wear a large. When the good deal came around and large was the only size for available I got it and IT FIT PERFECTLY!! I don't know what the other guys got but I got a wonderful, classic piece that I'll wear forever.

I bought this to use as a liner but am pleasantly surprised by how well it performs on its own. The Med is a boxy fit on me (150#), as seen on the model. Fits better after wearing outside in drizzle and getting the creases out; the material is a bit stiff at first despite being light. Surprisingly effective as an outer shell layer, with the caveat that you wouldn't want to wear it in a downpour. Construction and materials are top-notch and it's actually a good thing imo that the insulation is so thin. Cut is such that just buttoning the middle button provides 90% of the warmth.

I'm 6' 230 lbs wear a size large but upon reading reviews I decided to order a size up. It was big. I recomended ordering your true size. Jacket is thin not really quilted. Somewhat lighter than the photo used on the website. Will be returning.

Been looking for a 100% cotton jacket of this style for a while. Overall, I really like it and would recommend. The small was true to size for me, I’m thin and 5’10. Cons: -Buttons on the front are a bit cumbersome to button up. -The front pockets are awkward to rest your hands in, I wish they were at an angle. But they are very deep, which is nice.
