Great layering jacket for fall or spring
December 16, 2021As others have noted, this does run slightly large but it's designed as such being a base jacket as it offers room to layer with a sweater for enough warmth without a large jacket.

Excellent for layering in brisk weather!
November 24, 2021Shipped on time; wore it the next day with a flannel button-up and denim shirt layered over flannel. Matched my new JCrew boat shoes. Decided to go sockless with fitted distressed denim on the bottom. Wore my new JCrew distressed denim cap and JCrew sunglasses. (As you can tell, I love men's haberdashery and JCrew is now my go to brand.)

October 15, 2021I really liked the look of this jacket and in keeping w/ a couple reviews (thank you!) I ordered a size down from my normal M. I got two colors, the orange and blue. I returned the orange as the S pulled a bit in the chest when zippered/buttoned. The S in blue fit perfectly, no pulling. The orange is very vibrant, the picture outside on the stoop is closest. I’m glad I took the chance and live very close to a store, easy returns and no shipping hassle.

Baggy and not orange...
October 4, 2021I'm a medium at Jcrew and most the stores, I'm 5'10 and average body, not athletic. this jacket runs large or maybe it is simply badly constructed. it feels a little cheap. also, the Orange is not orange but more Tomato Orange, not Traffic cone orange like in the picture. They had one job... and failed twice. Jcrew photos are constantly a disappointment in terms or color matching.

Beautiful fall jacket but runs large
September 21, 2021I got this jacket for my boyfriend in the green color (really perfect for the fall). It's a beautifully made jacket, a nice little twist on the quilted jacket style. Both of us like that the bomber jacket style sleeves and collar make it look slightly edgier and younger. The previous reviewer was right though -- it runs large. My boyfriend is usually a size medium in most things, but I took a chance and bought the small in this one and it was the right choice. The shoulders fit perfectly as well as the sleeve length (and he has pretty long arms too). He is about 5'10" and 150-160lbs for reference. If you are between sizes, I would definitely size down.
