Nordic field parka with eco-friendly PrimaLoft®

He loves all the different pockets -- especially the middle ones you can put your hands into to warm them up. I think the coat is much heavier feeling, literally weight-wise in your hands, than I expected. I expected something v. warm but lighter weight. He doesn't like to struggle with hanging it up, so I get the honors there! It does seem to keep him warm, looks good and fits well.

This jacket is high quality with a ton of pockets and nice features. I'm sure it'll keep you warm. However, it is HUGE around the torso area. Looks great unzipped, but I can't take myself seriously when it's zipped up. If you're a slender guy, you may want to consider a different fit. It's too bad because I really like everything else about the coat.

I love Nordic Field Parka. It has plenty of pockets to store your wallet, keys, or phone. The fleece lining inside the hood is amazing and keeps your warm. I already have green and navy colored coats from J.Crew so I was happy to see a darker option for the Nordic parka. Perfect for winter, and relatively lightweight! This is a must have for your collection!

This is a solid parka that nails the basics. It also has a few nice touches and details. The basics: The shell material is water resistant and wind proof and feels substantial. The insulation is quite good as well (without being overly puffy). The fit is a little large, but a good parka should have room for layers underneath. There are plenty of pockets (the outer ones are even insulated) for gloves, hat, etc. The chest pockets are a nice touch and are fleece lined. Nice touches: There is a nice fleece collar that acts like a scarf when the jacket is zipped up. Similarly, there are ribbed knit cuffs on the sleeves that really make a difference in keeping drafts out. The hood is also quite nice- it is fleece lined and well insulated. I also really appreciate that there is not a visible logo on the jacket. Bottom Line: This is a solid and warm parka that won't disappoint.
