484 Slim-fit jean in black rinse wash

These are great jeans that go very well with the Kenton boots. Note that it’s not the stretchy kind of fabric and the fabric has significant weight to it. So they’re not the most comfortable pants but they look really good.

Purchased my normal sizing with jeans from Jcrew and other retailers and the waist on these are at least a size too large and the length is one size too long. This causes the crotch to be way too baggy. Jcrew has been lacking size consistency for years and it makes it impossible to be confident on how anything is going to fit when you receive them. Shirts too small, sweaters way too short, jeans too wide. Jackets and sweaters with arms to your knees. If you look at any of the 484 jean photos and preview videos, the fit looks different every time. The photos look like they're slim to regular fitting and the videos look like its skinny jeans. Also wish retailers would stop pinning items on models to make everything look more form fitting and just show how garments actually look. Tired of buying items and immediately needing to take them to a tailor. The best metaphor for this is like buying a shoe in a size 10 and you might receive a 9, 10 or 11. Complete guessing game.

Good quality and fit. Never had a black jean before, and it looks and fits great. Size ran standard for me and length is perfect.
