Inconsistent sizing
April 23, 2019I have purchased these jeans in the past after trying them on in store. I figured I would be able to order another pair of the same size online and get the same or close to the same fit. I was unhappy to see this was not the case. I won’t purchase in this way again.

Not the 484s I know and love. . .
March 7, 2019I am a long time fan (over a decade) of J Crew’s 484 regular pre-wash blue jeans. I thought I’d branch out into black, but I am seriously disappointed. These do not match the feel I’ve loved and am willing to pay a premium for. 1) the denim is too thick and heavy 2) it has too much streeeeeaatch 3) it fits large. The result is a jean that feels cumbersome and bags out. . .not the slim, form fitting, supple jeans I’ve grown so fond of.

Expensive but cheap
January 7, 2019All 484 items should fit the same way! If you buy a 484 chino it should fit just like a 484 jean. IT DOES NOT!! If you have consistent fits then you don’t need to try on anything. You walk in... you buy... you walk out... you wear! PLEASE!.... ENOUGH WITH THE STRETCH!!! A very poorly constructed product at a premium price!!
