Waaay too small!
July 24, 2021J Crew - what is up with your sizing?! These are tighter than most "slim fit" brands, more like a skinny jean. I specifically wanted a straight fit. Very disappointing, and it's on final sale so no possibility for a refund either. Just a very disheartening experience. Off to Salvation Army it goes.

Way Too Tight
July 12, 2021I've been a loyal J. Crew customer for years, and one thing I've generally appreciated is the ability to order online and know that items will fit. That was absolutely not the case with these jeans and seems to be an increasingly common problem now that almost all J. Crew denim and chinos have stretch. These jeans are so tight they are absolutely unwearable. I buy the 770's because I don't want my jeans to be tight. Overall, I'm very disappointed.

WAY too skinny, nothing like a 770
July 9, 2021These jeans fit like very tight, stretchy skinny jeans, there's nothing "straight-fit" about them. I sized up from my normal jean size and still got burned.

Too slim
March 15, 2021Slimmer than usual 770. Leg opening is one inch smaller; 13 vs 14. Knee and thigh are 1-1.5 inches narrower. Waist is the usual 31 inches. Size 30x34.

Anything with stretch, order next size up
March 15, 2021It's hard to find this light of shade denim with a sturdy quality. I used to swear by Levi's, but they're so paper thin THEY feel like leggings. These 770's in 7 year wash are nice and thick. I noticed j.crew jeans tend to run more "tailored" so I order a size up in both waist and length for the straight/slim cuts. I'm 6'0 185lbs, athletic, and usually a 34x32 everywhere else

These must be 250 Skinny, NOT 770 straight fit.
March 13, 2021These aren't 770 straight fit jeans, I don't care what the label says. These fit like 250 skinny jeans. They're very tight and run small. I wear 32x34 - these are at least one waist size smaller. All that said, the color is perfect! More of this color, please. I also like the stretch material.
