Pajama set in flannel plaid

I've learned about the men's "vanity sizing" on J. Crew--size up (the opposite of the vanity sizing for women here). Got the XL for my husband (42 suit size, 36/32 pants) and the top is perfect for him and his style, the pants are baggy but they work with the drawstring. This is after washing in cold water and putting them in the dyer. Quality--my mother saw them and thought they were gorgeous. I would not pay full price for these, but if you get them on a good sale it's worth it. The piping details are great, it's just the quality of the flannel is not full-price worthy. Seems light- to mid-weight. It's OK though.

I purchased 4 pairs of pajamas, different prints of course. 2 for my spouse and 2 for me. I loved them initially, but after washing they shrink. Even though I followed the guidelines. They shrunk further after the second wash. Very disappointing. Now I have 4 pairs of extra tight pajamas.
