These were perfect, please bring them back
October 26, 2020I wore these pants, the 1040 fit, all through high school and college, and it makes me a bit sad to see them go. I don’t have super big legs, I’m actually a pretty slim guy, but I am pretty tall (6’2”), so I need pants with a mid rise (about 11 inches) to be comfortable and look proportional. The 1040’s were great, but were a little oversized. Please Please Please bring back a fit with medium (11 in.) rise and a slim/ tapered leg. I’ll buy them all.

Not like the old 1040
July 10, 2019I don't know whether the "Athletic 1040" is meant to be distinct from the previous 1040, but the fit is entirely different. I have worn the 1040 cut for years and they have always been consistent- roomy, but not too baggy and with a tapered leg. These are really huge in the legs with a much wider opening and a deeper seat. I wish I could send them back, but I already washed them. Expensive lesson learned.
