1450 Relaxed-fit Broken-in chino pant

These pants fit very well without looking too baggy. Comfortable and appropriate for work and going out. As someone with a somewhat more athletic build, slim fit just doesn’t work. These pants are great. J. Crew - please bring these back!

I've ordered several of these chinos in different colors over the last few months and have been happy with every pair! Being made out of 100% Cotton gives them a natural feel and the relaxed cut is always comfortable. I have been able to wear these in casual and casual/dress occasions and have been complimented on my appearance. It's nice that JCrew offers different fits and cuts for guys with different builds and tastes from slim to full cut and nice to find something for my athletic build and legs and well as offering things that appeal to different generations. As long as this continues, I will continue to be a customer of JCrew!

J Crew used to offer much more choices in the relaxed fit style No longer. Everything now is cut far too slim for anyone with an athletic build. These pants are great, good fit good quality. They no longer have any in stock and only offered 3 colors but I am hoping they bring this back

These fit pretty much like the original chinos — vintage military uniform khakis. I hope J. Crew keeps making these, as well as the 1040 fits, as the style pendulum swings back to fits that flow and drape. I’m getting tired of pants and jeans that squeeze and bind. Plus, it’s nice to have a little variety. These chinos go well with almost everything else I wear. Some people have complained about a drop-off in quality from J. Crew lately, but these chinos are definitely made to last. The non-stretch version will wear and age beautifully. Get these pants!

I love these chinos. More often than not I have the issue that a length of 32" is a tad too short whereas 34" is too long. These pants fit perfectly. The quality is great, the relaxed fit is excellent and provides some "breathing space" so these pants feel comfortable without looking baggy. The cut is great. I'm extremely happy that these chinos are 100% cotton. In my opinion the flex nonsense in men's cloths is unnecessary and as far as I'm concerned a huge nuisance. Furthermore the nowadays common flex fabric is impossible to recycle and hence has environmentally a huge negative impact. How much more plastic do we need to put in our environment and oceans? So big thumbs up for these chinos being 100% cotton. If I could ask for one thing, it would be to provide those in more colors.

These pants are very comfortable and roomy without being baggy. They run a bit long, but, won't run under your heel.
