Fits true to size based on
56 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers generally like these chinos for their clean look, solid fabric, and versatile fit that works well for both office and casual wear. The cut is often described as comfortable and tailored, with several customers saying it suits athletic builds or feels just right without being too baggy. A lot of feedback asks for more color options, especially the return of stone and other lighter classic shades. Some customers also noted that the fit runs slimmer or longer than expected in certain batches, so a few suggested checking size and inseam carefully.

J. Crew seems to be dropping this item
June 22, 2017I have been buying the 64782 for many years, and would have bought them for many more. But it seems that J. Crew is phasing this model out. They now only offer darker colors, and only two sizes! I might look at some other J. Crew offering, but the advantage of sticking with the same model is that one knows it will fit the same. It is just as likely that I will end up with a different brand. Why would J. Crew be so dumb as to throw away reliable customers?

Fits big
Not the same color and larger than expected
June 1, 2017I purchased both the khaki and graphite pants in the same order, both 32x32. The khaki pants arrived and fit beautifully, immediately taking to the shape of my legs after a couple wears. I was too quick with taking the tags off of the the smoked graphite pants as once I stepped into a better lit area I noticed a rather intense green hue to the pants. I also do not remember if I had a large meal prior to the trying on the pants either as they seem about 1-1.5 inches longer than my khaki pants. I am very disappointed in the smoked graphite pants as they were not nearly the same color as pictured, although I could not be happier with the khaki pair.

Fits small
Change for the worst
May 7, 2017This size, while the most relaxed option you have, is still slimmer than the previous "Classic" fit, which was still a slimmer looking fit but it was comfortable. I have no clue why you guys decided to slim your pants up so much. I was a linebacker in college for Pete's sake, I need a little bit of room in the lower legs. It's also absurd you guys don't offer any of the more interesting colors for the larger fits. You guys are driving away your longest term and more loyal customers
