June 9, 2020Love these pleated chinos. What's old is new again! The tapered fit is just perfect. The 'cropped' length is hits right above my ankles at 5' 8," making these the ideal length to wear with loafers or sneakers. The chino fabric holds a crease well, too, keeping them sharp all day. Definitely going to be wearing these all summer long.

Dipping my toe in slouchy fits...
June 9, 2020I usually stick to slimmer fits, but something about these pants caught my eye, and I'm glad I took a chance. The pants fit great, the wider leg is tapered, so it doesn't look sloppy, or like you're wearing your dad's pants. The cropping is just above the ankle and looks trendy (also feels great with the warmer weather). I'd recommend this to anyone who's interested in trying a looser fitting pants with a wider leg. The quality of the material is tops too, feels durable and breaks in after a few wears.

May 23, 2020Relevant info: I weigh 160 lbs, and typically buy 770 fit pants because I like a bit more room in the top block and calves than the 484 gives. Pros: Well built; nice lighter weight twill fabric that still feels substantial; great details like the single pleat and the coin pocket; the rise feels slightly higher than the 770, which I was really hoping for--it complements the pleats nicely; the 27" inseam is as advertised (you really have to want the cropped look). Con: The taper is a little too aggressive below the knee for my taste. When I'm standing, admittedly it does look very nicely fitted. But when I sit, the leg openings hug my calves and they cling to my calves when I stand up again, which means that I need to pull them down again or shake my legs ever so gracefully every time I stand up to get them back in place. It's not a dealbreaker for me, but it is a hassle. I hope they make full-length chinos with the pleat and coin pocket someday. That'd be great.
