Lightweight overshirt in indigo plaid

This is an overshirt. It's not quite an oversized shirt-jacket like the duck canvas W&B ones, and not quite a Secret Wash shirt. It fits normally at the shoulder, but kinda roomy throughout and with generous pockets. It's an overshirt! Get it? How cool and innovate is that? The less you expect it to be exclusively a shirt or anything near a jacket, the happier you'll be. It's definitely thicker than poplin, almost like a dry oxford with an inflexible, starchy texture. It's roomy like a Classic fit, perhaps. In my opinion, it shouldn't be any slimmer nor softer. By the way, the yarn dyed indigo version is super soft and supple, and flows gently, which is contrasting to this stiff and confident fit. Both have awesome features, like a sturdy chest pocket and two roomy hand pockets for the biggest smartphone or wallet you can muster. Scientific tests confirm you can wear this comfortably over a slim secret wash shirt of the same size, or by itself. Get both.

Almost like a jacket. And it has pockets on the side that I discovered after wearing it the entire day. I have NO IDEA why it is called lightweight, however. It is not. In fact, its thickness makes if kind of hard to button. Maybe after I wash it a few times it will lose some of its stiffness. That said, it is a very nice shirt.

Still trying to figure how this is called lightweight. The Fabric is not only thick but quite rigid. Yes the color and fit are great but highly suggest JCREW removing the misnomer "lightweight"
