Irish linen shirt in sand houndstooth

I am over 6ft and over 190 pounds and the large is huge on me. the sleeves are extremely wide. The shirt labels says 'slim' but it is far from it The fabric is rough and not nice on the skin

I love everything about this shirt, except the cuff button placement. As received, the buttoned sleeves are so large that they slide over my hands. Easy enough to correct by moving the buttons for a snugger fit.
