What customers are saying:
Many customers found the seersucker popover to be a great, breezy option for warmer weather. They loved its light fabric and versatile style that works well for both casual outings and dressed-up occasions. Several customers suggested ordering one size down since the fit tends to run large, ensuring a more relaxed, flattering look. Overall, the shirt is seen as a standout summer choice for its comfortable feel and bold design.

Best summer shirt in my closet
August 12, 2022This is my most complimented summer shirt and the quality is great, it’s so breathable too. Usually wear a medium but small fits me nice in this. Ignore my old review, I don’t know how to delete it

Comfortable s/s Summer surprise
July 23, 2022While I don’t realize I purchased a popover vs. traditional button down I must say the fit is terrific, fabric is very “light”and I’ve received many compliments on my bold print popover!

Quality and undiscounted price is a joke
July 21, 2022As another reviewer pointed out this style does run large, I usually wear a medium in Jcrew but a small worked better for me with this. But when it comes to quality, the fabric is like cheap bedsheets we get in India, you can get similar shirts on Amazon for under 20$. I got it on sale for 22$ so it’s fine whatever, but the 98$ price on this has to be a joke, so they can perennially run ‘discounts’. The quality on the print of the design is also lower than what it looks like in the product photos but I don’t think that’s Jcrew’s fault, when I tried to take some photos they come out looking like the product pics.

Excellent summer shirt
June 12, 2022This my first time owning a "pop-over" shirt, and it definitely won't be my last. It's part polo and part button down camp shirt. The material is thin, but not cheap thin. It's perfect for warmer weather and can be worn casually on the beach or can be dressed up for a casual dinner

A Sharp and Saucy Summertime Seersucker Shirt
May 23, 2022This 100% cotton seersucker popover shirt is a fantastic choice for Spring and Summer, especially if you live in a warmer area like the South. The seersucker fabric feels light and breezy, but not too thin to be sheer. I like the extended three-button placket and button-down collar, as a popover shirt bridges the style gap between a simple tee and a typical button-down shirt. Style wise, this shirt pairs well with J.Crew's stretch chino shorts in navy, khaki, yellow/orange, or even a "Nantucket red" or peach shade. Size wise, this style is a "classic" fit and feels true to size but on the generous side of that. IE: If you normally wear a medium, expect this to fit like a "relaxed fit" medium (which I prefer when it's hot outside). If you're in between sizes, you may want to try sizing down first. Cheers!
