Just missed the mark…
December 6, 2023I was expecting a much thicker wool jacket for the price. The pattern, plaid color palette and cut of this are great. The jacket being as thin as it was for the price point it’s at really disappointed me. Will be returning.

Versatile, unique, stylish
November 13, 2023Beautiful garment, the colors look better together in person. I'm 6'2 185 lbs and sized up to a XXL, which fits me perfectly as a nice relaxed-fitting, lightweight fall/spring jacket (its a "work shirt" but to me I wear it as a jacket). Despite being XXL its not baggy or oversized. I'd say it runs slightly small.

January 6, 2023Had to keep an eye on the site to see if it would pop up after selling out and it did. This “shirt” is reminiscent of a coat made for loggers from companies that I can’t name in reviews and I’d say it’s a great option for the price point. I sized up to use it as a lighter coat but it fits under a heavy coat because it’s not bulky. Basically a great mid-layer. I weigh about 180-185.

November 9, 2022Wallace & Barnes is probably the best selection of casual men's clothes offered by J.Crew. Sad that they are not producing more stuff like the past, especially their jeans. That said this jacket is a homerun. Love the color. Love the fit, for the most part (sleeves are a little baggy). Got this one size down for a fitted look in Navy Black. Wore with short sleeve tee and was not all that uncomfortable for 100% wool. Probably will wear long sleeves if wearing for prolonged period. Overall great item.
