7" linen short

Fits great and looks great. Don't know why people are complaining about them being see-through, because they aren't.

Very thin material, which you can see through! I'll wear these around the house, but that's it!

J.Crew almost nailed it with these shorts but unfortunately I think they missed the mark by just a little bit. These shorts fit me like what the other 7" stretch shorts fit like after you've worn them once or twice, just right around the waist and slim around the thighs. They have no stretch but they've got a little more room to them; I didn't find the need to order a different size though. So I liked the style and fit but the issue came with how light the fabric is. It's transparent enough that you'll see the outline of the pockets (both front and back) and your underwear. You can even see the labels that are near the fly area! I'd suggest passing on these, even if they're on sale.

I believe the title says it all. They fit nice except NO give in the waist. The material is more like burlap then linen in its feel and texture. If you are really picky, which I am not, I would not recommend because for the price they don't drive as nearly as good as they look on the web site.

Yea. These shorts are incredibly transparent. And felt like a full size run too small. I'd return them.

Without a doubt, linen is the perfect summer fabric. The only downside is that linen is prone to wrinkling, but if you can accept that wrinkles are part of the deal, you’re good to go. Fit, form, function, etc are all great with these shorts. What makes linen the perfect summer fabric is how well it breathes. It’s also a bit transparent. So here’s the dilemma. I normally wear cotton boxer briefs which tend to be dark colored and don’t breathe well which can negate the benefit of linen, and you’d see them right through the material. My work around is to go commando. I’m not sure if people can see my package. I’d prefer if they didn’t, but at the end of the day I’m not overly bashful. Best solution, search online for linen boxers/panties and get some. Bottom line, get some linen underwear and these are the best summer shorts I’ve owned.
