Ludlow Essential Slim-fit suit jacket in mini-herringbone stretch four-season wool

This is a terrific blazer and extremely comfortable. The material of this jacket is very smooth and cool to the touch, which makes it wearable for at least 3 seasons out of the year, possibly 4. I own at least a dozen J.Crew blazers and this is definitely one of the more comfortable ones. The color is not your standard blue either, which is great if you don't want to look exactly like everyone else at an event. Finally, the mini-herringbone pattern is very attractive. Definitely a classic Edward Gorey vibe. (By the way, some other reviewer mentioned white stitching exposed at the shoulders. Evidently, that reviewer isn't aware that those are basting stitches, which is supposed to be removed before wearing.)

This suit feels, fits and looks cheap. Shoulder seems aren’t flush, arms bunch up, very disappointed overall. I tried to make it work but ended up returning it.

You could see the white stitching along both shoulder seams. I don't think I need to say much more.
